We are now half way through and only a week away from our trip. Last Saturday saw us having a party.  Not quite the party we were expecting as lots of people called off for various reasons, mainly do to ill health, the people who turned up though made a good evening although not as we were expecting. The party as fun and we caught up with some friends we hadn’t seen since last August which was nice.

I feel tired and drained at the moment. I guess the forth coming events are making us all a little excited and sleep is just not happening. I am preparing for a few weeks of excitement, stress,  all rolled into one.  

XXXX I feel has now hit the menopause reaction of not taking hormones. This has made her very tired as she is not sleeping and the feeling of lethargy has started. We have decided to have a ceremony to say goodbye to him, we will do this in Thailand and all say a few words of goodbye. We have packed candles which our daughter made and she has written a few words to say while we are there I know this will  be an extremely emotional time for all of us and will be difficult for us all to handle. This will be the end and the closure of it all. It is time to move forward as difficult as it sometimes seems, it has to be.

The time has come for us to fly out. The last week of work was good and I had lots of good wishes to send us on our way and a lovely card from work that all had signed wishing us well. The next 4 weeks will be updated daily and will be on a separate area.
