I am a woman with a male birth certificate, but I am denied the right to correct that problem. Despite having done everything necessary to correct the problems with my body, I am denied the right to be legally considered a woman because I am married. My name is Samantha, but this is the only name I will use to protect my family.

Without the support of my family, my friends and especially my wife, this journey would have been far harder.
