WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

I set this site up to discuss issues that my partner and I face on a daily basis.

My partner is a woman and I am a woman.

Equality is something that we do not have. There are loads of claims about equality - the Sex Discrimination Act for example - but they are not real.

Real equality comes from within people. It is how people see us and how people accept us.

We have a young daughter. That is something that causes a series of other issues
 
 
 

Acceptance
This seems to be the most difficult thing for some people. I do not mean 'approval' but acceptance of our right to live our lives as a family.

Children
Having a child is an inalienable right for any woman. But some people feel that unless a man is involved, then it is unacceptable. But surely a child with two loving parents is far more important than whether they are male or female?

Equality
Will there ever be true equality? We are not even allowed to get married, but need to have a Civil Partnership - equal but different.
